Standard Cochins SOLD OUT $6.00 each. are a very attractive bird which has a striking appearance due to their great size and abundance of soft, loose plumage with an abundance of shank and toe feathers. . Cochins are producers of medium size brown eggs, because they are the most docile of all breeds are an excellent choice for pets. (I use the hens as broodies and have had them raise poults chicks and keets all at the same time , I also use them to incubate the peacock eggs, for these reasons alone they are worth their weight in gold)

Buckeyes SOLD OUT
$6.00 each a dual-purpose breed of chicken with a deep, lustrous red color of plumage. They have yellow legs and skin, and, with their pea comb, are very cold-weather hardy. They are active fowl and are known for being especially vigilant in the pursuit of mice, sometimes compared to or considered better than cats. They seem to lack the tendency to feather-pick each other The roosters make full range of sounds beyond those typical of many other chicken breeds, including a dinosaur-like roar! (OK I have to admit it was the dino roar that got me)
These are listed as critical on the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy -critical less than 500 breeding birds in the united states
Blue Breasted Cubalayas SOLD OUT $7.00 each a beautiful multi-purpose chicken first developed in Cuba prior to its US introduction in 1939. The primary breed characteristic is the unique “lobster tail.” This attribute features a downward-angling tail with lavish feathering. Cubalayas are known as producers of quality meat and can be very reliable layers of tinted eggs. The most desirable characteristic this breed is their tameness. Chicks are friendly from the day they're hatched and will eat out of the owner's hand even with no previous handling. They are listed as Threatened by the ALBC, threatened -less then 1,000 breeding birds
Standard Sultans SOLD OUT $7.00 each -these are straight run- and my most favorite silly bird. Are a very unique breeds of poultry. They have a full crest, muff and beard, heavily feathered shanks with vulture hocks (a disqualification in most breeds), five toes, and a small, V-shaped comb. Although originating in southeastern Europe, they became very popular in Turkey, where they were known as the "Sultan's Fowl." They are also, suprisingly, a good layer of white eggs even though they are considered an ornamental bird. These are white Sultans there are also black Sultans but they are very rare.

Silver Lakenvelders ONLY 3 Left $5.00 each A white chicken with black neck, tail and wing feathers. They are medium sized, lay a white egg and are excellent foragers. They have a single comb with five points. These are an established German breed from at least 1860. These are really striking birds that lay a good amount of eggs.
Assorted Hamburgs $5.00 each, an old breed from Holland a favorite for exhibition. A medium sized bird and a very good layer of chalk white eggs. They are hardy and add a lot of color to the flock. Silver Spangled, Silver Penciled, Gold Penciled and Blue available.

Buff Orpingtons $4.50 each, SOLD OUT One of Americas favorite Chickens, a lovely uniform buff gold color, with the sweetest disposition of any chicken out there, great for childern to raise because of their calm quiet and non agressive nature. A good layer of brown eggs they will go broody and hatch and take good care of their chicks.
